There is a serious dearth of soft skills and decision-making abilities in many corporate employees, which experience and technical skills cannot compensate for. Many business deals fall apart because of some ‘communication gap’.
Today, the mantra for success is the ability to “interact” effectively. The mishaps emanating from a wrongly worded e-mail, or a misinterpreted gesture, or a tone that falls short of sounding assertive, are commonplace and it is this resulting loss of credibility that we aim to counter.
